Apparently some people want to get back to their roots...deep roots, like when people ran around uttering only consonants and ate live wolves and elephants and believed the rock was the planet's only (and only necessary) tool, implement, universal remote.

For these people, who like rocks, there's Caveman Tableware -- introduced by a Dutch designer who enables people to eat on dishes, bowls, etc. as in the olden days; or, if you look more closely, using stuff that, if your 3 year old brought home from pottery class...you'd think he had a serious motor skill deficiency and immediately have him in daily therapy. It's ridiculous and, yet...chic. And, of course, not cheap.

So, if you want to eat your sandwich on a plate that looks like it came (unwashed) from your local quarry (although in truth these plates are made from high-priced synthetic 'rock-looking' plastic), you're in luck. You may not live in a cave but at least you can eat like a caveman.
