It's so easy to jump to conclusions and judge someone. My wife and I both work and the division of labour in the household is she does everything kids, I do the rest. (However, we both spend lots of time playing with all the kids). She gets home before me and is with the kids right away. Sometimes she helps me, sometimes I help her. If she were to hand me our one of my (3) kids - like the baby, right after I got home, I'd wonder what's going on and how long I needed to hold the baby. Dad, you're obviously a generous person. It's true there can be extenuating circumstance but in my book the dad ought to be a little better. Maybe with time, eh? LOL |
