I had a good chuckle, thanks. I used to be a real estate broker and couldn't get out fast engough. Now it's like starving animals competing for brfead crumbs. Sad but most would kill their young anyway. I was a broeker too. I - submitted by former on 09/05/2007
I was a broeker too. I couldn't stand it. Too many people cut corners and would do anythign to get a sale. Lawyers have a bad rep (I'm married to one) but real estate agents are on a different level of sliminess, no matter what they say. Realtor fees are completely - submitted by Anonymous on 09/05/2007

I got my realtor to go to 2.5%. They wanted 6% and I saidd forget it. This conversation isn't so different than one iI had a couple months back. To me they're a necessary evil. you just have to be firm and they'll do what you wantt. Sell without a broker, save - submitted by indie on 09/06/2007

Realty in my town had 6 brokers. 3 just left because they weren't making any money. I'm panicked about selling our house, i told my husband we should've done it a year ago, he said don't worry. Now he's out of a job and were screwed. He's so stupid, really he is. I don't know what I ever saw in him and here I am online venting to totla strangers, how nice is that. response - submitted by Frank on 09/16/2007
getoffme, give us some juice, and share more details about him hitting on you, and what the breaking point was. Your story deserves its own blog post. losingi, the market is tough, but unless you are a psychic, you can't blame yourself not having seen this coming. Don't put up your house and lose a lot of money. Make sure you do your homework on the Internet to learn about other people's failures, and what you should do right. |
