I was a broeker too. I couldn't stand it. Too many people cut corners and would do anythign to get a sale. Lawyers have a bad rep (I'm married to one) but real estate agents are on a different level of sliminess, no matter what they say.

Realtor fees are completely negotiable. Don't let them hose you, there are 1000s out there now desperate for listings so sellers have all the leverrage.

I got my realtor to go to 2.5%. They wanted 6% and I saidd forget it. This conversation isn't so different than one iI had a couple months back. To me they're a necessary evil. you just have to be firm and they'll do what you wantt.

Yea, to last commenter, their useful purpose is to take money from sellers' pockets. Nott too tough to put up a listing and show a house. My Siamese cat could do that.

Just fired my realtor, he was always hitting on me. So disgusting. I hope he never sells another house. He's married and says he haas an open relationship. Opne this slimebucket!

Realty in my town had 6

Realty in my town had 6 brokers. 3 just left because they weren't making any money. I'm panicked about selling our house, i told my husband we should've done it a year ago, he said don't worry. Now he's out of a job and were screwed. He's so stupid, really he is. I don't know what I ever saw in him and here I am online venting to totla strangers, how nice is that.

losingi, the market is tough, but unless you are a psychic, you can't blame yourself not having seen this coming. Don't put up your house and lose a lot of money. Make sure you do your homework on the Internet to learn about other people's failures, and what you should do right.
