My husband stopped shaving. AHe'd already lost his hair. He looked horrible. One day he realized it and cut everything off. Very nice!

and we have 6 kids!!!! letting his hair grow out, decided he's actually a cowboy and wishes his life didn't revolve around kids but around himself. how patient are we supposed to be?

Is this the same wife who has cut her hair so short she looks like a man? Wears corduroys and sweaters with loafers? Stopped wearing makeup (real makeup) five years ago? She should be lucky she didn't get let out by the side of the road a long time ago. Women who make their lives - and their husbands lives - interesting don't have these problems. Ponytail = male loser; "sensibly short" hairstyle - female loser.

Yo Anonymous - Sounds like you speak from experience. Instead of waiting for your wife to make your life interesting - how about becoming interesting yourself? The point of this manic minute is that we are going through these "stages" with our spouses... we have ours and they have theirs - we don't have to like it - but we suck it up and love them anyway. Or, I suppose, you could dump yours on the side of the road. She might be better off.
