Guys: Do More Housework, Get More Sex?

Trend

Recent studies show that men increasingly are doing more housework and spending much more time on child care than they used to. And the benefits (to the men) are greater than a cleaner, more organized house. They may be getting more sex from their happier and less stressed partners, at least one pyschologist reports.

Does this mean if guys are in a relationship with insufficient or unsatisfying sex, all they have to do is don an apron and whip out the...vaccum cleaner? Of course not (although wearing the classic maid outfit, in sexual role reversal, has been known to stimulate creativity in some otherwise static relationships).

What's clear is that by sharing more of the household and family responsibilities men can contribute to a more stable and satisfying personal relationship. And while that may not lead directly to crazy, unbridled sex, there's a good chance it will reduce the conflict and, with less conflict, who knows....not only may more sex result but (even more importantly to the guys) less hassle when they (guys) inevitably want to just hang out and watch TV or surf the net or do whatever else it is guys do to amuse themselves that doesn't include kids or parental or spousal responsibilities.

It's not vaccum, but vacuum. Also, desperate guys have been known to whip out a vacuum cleaner, but more in the interest of instant gratification.
