The proud creators of SpeedFit are now looking for investors. Seriously -- and this vid is their pitch. Sure, if you want to walk or run down the street for exercise, you can...walk or run down the street. But, with SpeedFit, now you can do the exact same thing only on a contraption that costs a ton of money, is a pain in the ass (it's one heavy mo-fo), is a potential traffic hazard and can only barely turn corners. Twain is one of my favorite writers! When I was in college, I took a semester-long course just on Twain. Bliss. a lot of places dont have sidewalks. sometimes running down the street is way too dangerous without some height or some ridiculous looking vehicle to shield you from oblivious drivers.
i mean, i dont know if that's the point of this thing, but i might consider giving it to a few of my friends in the burbs. jk.

I admit it looks unsafe.. but by converting your movement into a wheel movement they claim to be able to move you 20 times faster than the speed you're going at.
