Teen Drug Use Is No Laughing Matter. Or Is It?

Every month it seems a new report is issued announcing that drug and alcohol use among teens is growing in the burbs -- even more than in cities. It's not just a U.S. problem. Thanks to a tip from our friends at Hecklerspray, we've gotten hold of a great new video -- produced by those always crazy nutty folks in British gov't -- that attacks the problem with wicked humor, serious celeb-value &, most crucial, a talking dog. If this wack dog can't influence kids to think twice about drugs (in this case cocaine), we don't know what will. CHECK OUT THE VID

The voice behind the dog-star belongs to David Mitchell, a British actor and writer and star of the long-running Brit sitcom, Peep Show. In the States, of course, local and national government has explored tons of approaches to reach kids. Don't know if a dog has yet been used. But if Pablo-the-dog works well in this novel British campaign, we might look forward to seeing him -- and his slanted humor -- cross the ocean sometime soon. Rarf!...read more rants
