Who Decided This Was a Good Thing?

Reserved Parking Spaces For Town Officials.
Isn't it enough that our local realtor and travel agent and moccasin store owner who incongruously run our town government get fancy titles like Director of Planning and Budget Master, and make a fortune doing "town" deals with personal friends and relatives and business associates? Must they also receive 20 of the 30 primo-available parking spaces in the downtown, with their names etched VIP-style into the pavement? New Burbia Rule: If we can't get a parking space near the dry cleaners or ice cream store or diner in town, then Phil-the-cheese-shop-owner-and-town-"Executive Technology Director" shouldn't get one either. ...read more rants

Community8 college is irrelevant. FAct that he's a crook is waht matters. Maybe fact that so many local guys are looking for shortcuts awnd strive to have more than they do makes them more likely to cheat. It's in our culture now. Everrybody cheats so why can't they. I'm not excusing it but it could explain it.
